Poisonous plants are sometimes regarded as dangerous, mysterious or even sinister, but they have a long tradition of providing protection and support during difficult times. Enter the world of poisons & baneful medicines with Nicholas Pearson in this livestream workshop.

Many poison plants have a long history of use in herbalism, magic and alchemy, which are brought together in their role as essences. When made into flower essences, baneful herbs like nightshade, henbane and other poison plants are effective tools for treating shock and trauma. Essences also offer one of the safest means of working with toxic plants, as they contain only the energetic imprint of the flowers.

Poisonous plant essences catalyse deep healing, as they are able to embrace and transform our deepest-held patterns. Dr Bach’s star-of-Bethlehem is the perfect example of an otherwise toxic plant whose essence is celebrated for it’s healing powers around the world today.
