| In honor of Valentine’s Day, I wanted to share some of my favorite stones for cultivating a more loving and compassionate world, starting with the subject of the next masterclass. Ruby occurs when traces of chromium transform the mineral corundum into brilliant shades of red. Throughout history, this gemstone has been revered as a token of strength, courage, and victory; it has long been associated with wealth, sovereignty, and power. Connecting with ruby strengthens your emotional body, and it helps you draw strength though love and compassion. Ruby transforms lower emotions into sources of strength that help you become more resilient so you can thrive in a not-so-gentle world. Rose Quartz teaches us to embody love by letting go of the obstacles to love within us. This soothing crystal helps release stuck and stagnant emotions, letting them be expressed with compassion, so we can make space for unconditional love to flow through us unimpeded. Dioptase is one of my favorite copper minerals. It is a rich, emerald green with sharp, lustrous crystals. This rare mineral dissolves guilt, shame, and unforgiveness so we can embrace the power of love to lead us to more compassionate actions. Lepidolite is a variety of mica that contains lithium. Beloved by many for its emotionally balancing qualities, lepidolite empowers you to be flexible, adaptable, and surrendered through the gift of of unconditional love. You can wear, carry, or meditate with any of these gemstones for their love- and compassion-inducing effects. Each of them is featured in my third book, Crystal Healing for the Heart: Gemstone Therapy for Physical, Emotional and Spiritual Well-Being. Stay tuned later this month for a special meditation with ruby to deeply embody its healing qualities. Don’t forget to sign up for the Ruby Masterclass if you want to join me for a deep dive into the magic and medicine this gem has to offer. |
